Last week, I shared a post all about FREEDOM.
This week, I think it’s important to discuss FREEDOM from judgment, criticism and those in our lives who persist with criticism and judgment of our choices, of who we are, of how or why we’ve decided to change our lives, etc.
Sometimes we can still feel bogged down by the pain or it might be even more present now that we’ve lost the weight. I’ve realized how much more I feel pain now that my “cushion” or “fat shield” is gone, and so dealing with painful feelings of judgment and criticism can cause me to turn my attention back to food, and this is where I stop and use my mindset tools before putting anything in my mouth!
Today I’m actually going to share a livestream I did on my Facebook page about my own struggles with this and how after surgery, I still struggle with turning to food to soothe. Although the triggers are still there, I’ve worked on my #mindset enough that I am able to stop myself before eating my feelings.
